Welkins Med

CUPOD LLC owns the sealed-pod chlorine dioxide patents. Welkins Med is the engineering and low-volume manufacturing house for CUPOD research hardware.

From their published services, and how CUPOD uses that list: new product development, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering and drafting, validation testing, product-cost and manufacturing optimization, and low-volume specialized manufacturing.

• Concept through requirements, then mechanical design

• Prototype: print, cut, machine

• Test before a design is finalized

• BOM and manufacturability so a pod enclosure can be built more than once

• Low-volume manufacturing and assembly

Welkins Med’s other products and clearances are its own and do not transfer to CUPOD. CUPOD’s chlorine dioxide patents stay CUPOD’s.
